This is the cloud successor of the Golden Inventory System desktop program. Upload your Invent.mdb file, and your locations, customers, vendors, items with their price levels, bills of materials and opening stock arrive in one pass. It runs in any browser, and it keeps working without internet.
Create a free account and import| Desktop table | Becomes | What comes with it |
|---|---|---|
| Warehouse | Locations | The whole tree — each warehouse and the zones under it, with address and active state |
| Customer, Vendor | Customers, vendors | Contact, e-mail, phone, billing and shipping address, tax number, payment terms, type, salesperson, price level, credit limit, comments |
| Product | Items | Code, invoice and PO description, type, barcode, department, cost, list price, sale price and price levels 2–4, markup / margin pricing rules, preferred vendor, weight, tax flags, minimum / maximum / target quantity |
| ProductSet | Bills of materials | The components of each assembly |
| Product.Stock | Opening stock | One draft item receipt with every quantity on hand — you check it and approve it |
Safe to repeat. A record that already exists is skipped — items by code, customers and vendors by name, locations by name under the same parent. Run the import again after a last week of desktop work, and only the new records come across. A record that is skipped is not updated either: a changed price or a new stock quantity of an existing item stays as it was, so correct those by hand or with a stock adjustment.
What does not move: old invoices, orders and payments, and the balances they make. Keep the desktop file for reference, and start the cloud company from today's stock.
Invent.mdb from the desktop computer. The desktop app keeps working with the original.Invent.mdb on the desktop. The import is on every plan, the free one included. It needs the company owner or an admin.

In the folder where the desktop program keeps its database. If you are not sure, search the computer for Invent.mdb. Copy the file; the desktop app keeps working with the original.
No. The import brings the master data and the opening stock: locations, customers, vendors, items, bills of materials. Old documents, payments and balances stay in the desktop file, which you can keep for reference.
Yes. Records that already exist are skipped, so a second run adds only what is new.
The wizard reads the Access .mdb file only. From SQL Server, export the item, customer and vendor lists to Excel or CSV and use the CSV and Excel import in the app.
No. The cloud version runs in any browser — Windows, Mac, Linux, a tablet or a phone — and installs to the home screen like an app.
The free plan and the import cost nothing and need no card. The paid plans are on the pricing table.
