A market stall, a cold store, a van, a warehouse corner with no signal. Golden Inventory keeps selling, receiving and invoicing on the device — and syncs every change when the connection returns, without overwriting anyone's work.
Start freeThe point of sale, invoices and cash sales. The receipt prints from the device.
Receive a delivery by scan, pick an order, post the document. It is approved on the server when it syncs.
New customers and items, payments, and the repair job board. Anything you create offline gets its server identity at sync.
Offline, you see the stock and prices from the last sync. The app refreshes them every 10 minutes on the paid plans and every 30 minutes on the free plan, and also when it starts and when the connection returns.
| Situation | Result |
|---|---|
| You make a sale with no connection | It is saved on the device with its final receipt number, from a block of 10 numbers the device reserved while online. It syncs when the connection returns. |
| Someone changed the same draft on another device | Their version stays. Your offline edit is saved as a new draft — a conflict copy — and the app gives you its number. |
| The document was approved on the server while you edited it offline | The approved document does not change. Your edit becomes a conflict-copy draft. |
| An offline sale took an item below zero | The sale syncs and is approved, and the app shows the warning you could not see offline. |
| One change cannot be applied | It goes to the Sync errors panel with Retry and Discard. The other changes sync — one stuck change does not block the rest. |
| The connection breaks in the middle of a sync | The changes wait and are sent again. The server applies each change one time only, so nothing is booked twice. |
Golden Inventory runs in the browser and installs from it on a phone, tablet or computer — no app store. The whole app is stored on the device, so it opens with no connection after the first visit. The status chip shows Online, Offline or Syncing…, and how many changes are waiting.
Moving from the desktop Golden Inventory? Its XML branch sync is not needed any more: every device syncs with the same company. See the desktop migration page.
Yes. After it has opened one time with a connection, it opens and works with none: sales, the point of sale, receiving and invoicing. Each change waits on the device and syncs when the connection returns.
No. While online, each device reserves blocks of 10 document numbers. Offline, a new document takes its final number from that block, so a printed receipt never changes number.
The device checks the rules it has the facts for before it queues the work. The server checks again when the change arrives, and the server's answer wins.
No. It works on every plan, the free plan too. The point of sale itself is in the Business plan — see barcode and POS.
Open it once online, then take it anywhere. Free plan, no card.
